I love you daddy and i will see you again.

I am in shock at the fact that I am writing a solemn tribute for my dad. This time last year, we were planning Daddy’s 80th birthday celebration. I am extremely grateful to God that we were given the opportunity to celebrate him - to show him how much we love, care for and cherish him.

Daddy and I share a lot of memories together, I am sure I have the most Selfies with him, and I will forever cherish each one. I am grateful that he had children from all over and at home we liked to joke about how I am the “original” baby..

as the last born, I often wondered why was this even up for a debate. I am grief stricken that I have lost my friend, my voice of reason who didn’t mince words and a father who always prayed for me. I am going to miss him beyond any words can express.

I am grateful for the impact he made and every life he touched. I am also very grateful to be his daughter and I am beyond proud of him. I love you daddy and I will see you again.

Your original baby, Thank you to everyone honoring daddy - God sees us all, and may he comfort us all.
